Business Contingency Plans for COVID-19
DJL Accounting & Consulting Group cares about our clients, employees, local businesses and neighbors. Your financial wellbeing and overall health and safety is our number one priority.
In response to the recent COVID-19 (Corona Virus) concerns, we have implemented our business contingency plans as a precautionary step.
Our Plan follows guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local public health authorities. Invoking the plan ensures that we have the right level of resources and risk management devoted to your health and safety as we continue to monitor the risk caused from this virus. Unlike the common flu, there are enough unknowns that caution is warranted.
Our office is being proactive and offering the following services:
- Our office will remain open and prepared to serve your tax and accounting needs.
- As always, we have put alternative measures in place for you to easily get your information to us. DJL has Citrix Share file available for you to upload your documents. Share file is a secure content collaboration, file sharing and sync solution that supports all the document-centric tasks and workflow needs of small and large businesses. We have Bank-level data encryption that secures your files in transit and at rest. And with more than 25 customizable security settings, we have the power to recover lost data and prevent leaks.
- We will also set up zoom, skype or face time calls for those of you who would still like to meet with myself or others in our office.
- If you are unable, or do not want to, upload your information to our office, you can always mail it to us. We are also offering to pick up your information. If you are elderly or your immune system is compromised, we are happy to send someone to pick up your information to eliminate the stress of you leaving your home or office.
- If you have any questions or concerns, would like to set up an online meeting, arrange to have your documents sent to us, or would like invited to share file, please call our office at 330-779-0781.
In addition, we're monitoring the financial markets and the IRS modifications and options for our clients. We will try to keep you up to date and reach out with any new information that is available to us.
Our president mentioned payroll tax relief and SBA loans for those businesses affected by the virus. We will be sending out the details as we receive them.
Rest assured that we will continue to closely monitor the situation and be prepared to take additional measures to support our clients, employees and communities if those needs arise.
For additional information about COVID-19, get the latest report from the CDC or your local health department website and irs.gov.
