As we dive into the 2024 tax season, we want to take some time to reflect on the exciting, memorable moments that made up 2023 here at DJL Accounting.

We’d like to thank our team for all their hard work as well as all our stakeholders who have shown us so much support this past year.

In 2023 we welcomed lots of new clients, grew our team, went on some fun-filled trips, and attended memorable events, while achieving many personal and team goals.  Our team has grown in both skill and quantity! We have officially welcomed two previous interns to our team as full-time staff accountants. These graduates and one other team member are sitting for their CPA exam this year!  We are also excited to have three new interns join us for the eventful tax season. We have welcomed many new individuals and companies to DJL Accounting as a result of our acquisition of Canfield Tax and Consulting in 2023. All our new clients from this acquisition have been successfully onboarded, as well as new referral clients, and we can’t wait for everything that is to come. 

Team building is important here at DJL, and we enjoyed many new team building opportunities and excursions in 2023. Some of our favorite events were a Pirates baseball game, Employers Day at Youngstown State University, sponsoring designer bag bingo in support of “Clothed In Strength” (where we helped them raise almost 50k!!), and a pool day at Avalon.

This December, we will be celebrating 24 years in business in the Mahoning Valley. We can’t wait for everything this year has in store for us!
